Adam Lewis Greene, the creator behind Bibliotheca, took on a project that none has ventured to take which is to redesign the bible and publish it as a novel in four volumes. After pitching this project on Kickstarter, it caused some conflicting criticism on the most read book in history, but amassed a large support from 14,884 backers pledging $1,440,345. The book is still in the works, but you can pre-order the book on their site.
