ATEM came to fruition in 2012 in the studio of Nelson Abulencia in Hamburg, Germany. Atem or breath in german is indeed a refreshing view on how it perceives its merchandise, as contemporary timeless classic pieces made with durable materials crafted into functional design with a sense of tactile simplicity.
